Well first of all this car belongs to my daughter. The air conditioner pump got a pin hole and it leaked all of the freon out. Now this car is only 4 years old and the leak seems to be right on the seam or weld what ever you want to call it. Now most of my family are G.M.A.C. buyers. I took it to the dealer and because the warrenty was up ther was nothing they could do but charge us an arm and a leg. Because we don't have the money to fix this problem my daughter is driving around in a hot car during the summer. She goes to college and work. Now I am not an expert on this type of problem but it sure seems to me that it is a manufacture defect but thats only me. I was thinking of writing a letter to the corporation but don't know if that would do any good.Thanks for letting me vent.

Air conditioner stopped working in the middle of summer, turned out to be a faulty pump. The technician at the dealership said it looked like someone dropped it at the factory and put in my car anyway. There is a small plastic plug molded to the pump and it fell out, you can't buy just the plug, you have to buy the entire thing. This cost me 100 dollars on my extended warranty. The pump cost is around 650.
