I recently discovered that my rear doors on my 2006 Pontiac G6 4-door coupe is missing the child safety locks that the owner's manual states it should have as a standard feature. Having 2 small children I find this feature incredibly necessary on my vehicle and thought it was a standard on all vehicles. After finding this I went to the dealership where I purchased the car and was told that child safety locks were discontinued on the 2006 model of this car and then reinstated in 2007 models. I find this bogus.
