My car's front passenger seat, ceiling, & floor caught fire from an apparent manufacturer defect. GM does not want to assist me.

I uploaded a question 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received an answer... PLEASE HELP... I have a three month old baby girl, and as you can imaging, I am profoundly apprehensive about putting her in a car that at any moment can burst into flames... Basically, just from moving the seat forwards and backwards caused a faulty wire (under the seat, which there is an electrical box) to trip and created a spark, which led to the fire...

I spoke to GM, and they are unwilling to compromise anything, from: replacing the car with the same model, disbursing money for the value of the car, or even fixing what was damaged... At this point, what makes matters worse is that I can't and I am unwilling to sell this "death trap" to anyone... My car is a 2006 Pontiac G6 V6...
