I know people that have never had to replace struts/shocks but her i am with a fairly new car that the struts are bad & so conveniently after my extended warranty expired

DONE with GM. This car has been nothing but a piece of crap. The struts need replacing, the interior is chintzy. The top of the lock broke off. The trim on the air vent is peeling off.

I purchased the car from a dealership with 32,000 miles on it. At around 51,000 miles, I noticed a horrible noise coming from the front of my car. It turns out that the struts were bad. Never have I ever had to replace the struts on a vehicle with less than 100,000 miles. Luckily, I had a private mechanic give me a deal on replacing them along with sway bars and mounts. After replacing the parts, the mechanic showed me the strut mounts which were rusted so bad they were turning to dust! I also found out that at any point, the springs could have gone and caused major damage to my car.

Pontiac G6 has been a ok car but the wheel assembly has been a mess

The 2006 pontiac g6 is garbage. I had nothing but trouble. I did not have the car for a month and it had to go to the garage for the front end. It is now 5 years later and i am still experiencing trouble to this day. I have turned people away from buying this car . Warning to people- do not buy.
