G6 4S V6

Bought the car used from car lot and within a week had it there for brake lights. Didnt know it until I was driving and another driver notified me. Followed me to the store to let me know my brake lights were staying on while driving, but go off when it seemed like I was stopping. 1st time, supposably fixed it. Week later noticed while driving at night i could see my brake lights on. Called and took back to car lot. They replaced a switch. Worked fine for few days. Noticed today was back to same thing..... already frustrated because I have kids that ride in car with me.

G6

In late April my car started to act up with brake lights going on all the time. I couldn't put my cruise control on and people kept pulling me over telling me about my lights. After I found that out, I was scared to drive on the highway and even on the country roads. I was worried that this might cause an accident. I did some research and found out this is a big problem in my type of vehicle. Every time I bring my car in to a GM dealer, they say they can't fix completely but do some type of recalculating to make it turn off for a while. I'm sick of worrying about when my car will act up and if it will get me into an accident. I wish I could get it fixed fully for free to keep me and my son safe.

I am the owner of a '07 Pontiac G6. I received a recall letter for brake light failure. The problem being, the brake lights stay on when driving. I followed through with the recall and took my car to a participating dealership. Supposedly, the problem was fixed. Despite the problem being "fixed," I continue to deal with the same issue.
