The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac G6. While driving less than 70 mph, the contact noticed that the transmission slipped when switching lanes. The vehicle would not accelerate when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The dealer made the necessary repairs. On a separate occasion, the steering wheel made a loud clunking noise when it was turned. The dealer repaired the steering column. While traveling less than 70 mph on another occasion, the engine made extremely loud noises, especially while idling. The failure mileage was unknown and current mileage is less than 10,000. Updated 03-06-09 the consumer also when the headlights were on, the turn signals would activate and the headlights would go off. Updated 03/12/09.

2007 Pontiac G6 experienced oil-leak from front-crank and oil-pan areas. Gaskets had to be replaced. Mileage when first noted was 20,000-miles. Dealer scheduled appointment and performed replacement as needed. Warranty-work.

Service traction control warning appeared followed by engine, oil and others with 'reducing power to the engine' warning. Then dropped to no rpms and engine stalled -unpredictably.
