After replacing several bulbs the drivers side low beam still wasn't working.

Really? Replace passenger side low beam bulb and works for a day or two and DONE. WTF? At $20 bucks a pop every other day not to mention the 45 minutes required to replace the damn thing it's getting more than ridiculous. GM recall the 08 G6 PLEASE!

I too am tired of replacing the low beam bulb. I know that there has been a recall for this problem but not for the 2008 G6. Therefore Pontiac has acknowledged that there is indeed a flaw in their headlights. How much could it possibly cost for them to fix the problem with a recall on our 2008 G6?!

2008 G6 have replaced drivers low beam 3 times in a month. Dealer states the terminals are melted causing failure.

I have had the low beam headlight changed several times and it will work for about 2 days and go out again. I have to keep my lights on highbeam to try to avoid a ticket as well as be a road hazzard. GM has been aware of the issues for years and has yet to step up and take responsiblity. This is only one of several issues this make/model has. I have tried to work with GM as well as the dealership. Only option either wants to discuss is the thousands of dollars they want me to pay for their faulty product.

After replacing the connectors seem to not have this problem for awhile until almost a year later and the low beam has gone out again. Very aggravating after dealing with this for almost three years. Especially when driving at night and you don't realize your lights have gone out. This can cause a serious injury. Not sure what the fix now except take to the dealer and have them rewire which is an estimated $700 fix. Which I don't have.

I've had the car for about 4 yrs. First incident the passenger side low beam light goes out. Replaced bulb. Goes out again two month later. Replaced again. High beam works fine. replaced 3 times at $20 each

Both low beam headlights went out at the same time. One minute they were working. Then when I started my car again, they wouldn't come on. I didn't think it was the bulbs, b/c that was highly unusual. But I changed them out anyway. AND IT'S NOT THE BULBS!!!! Technician THINKS it's the switch, but won't know for sure until we can change it out. SO THAT'S AN ADDITIONAL COST. I've had the car for 5 1/2 years and never experienced this before, but I see the problem is not new. Pontiac needs to check this out.

The low beam on the drivers side is out. I tried the bulb in the passenger side and it worked. It is not the bulb. I replaced both fuses and neither of the old fuses were bad. No idea what to try next?

driver side low beam keeps going out and then sometimes its on, tired of replacing the bulbs and it is a pain to change because you have to take the whole assembly out Anyone have a solution to this problem
- tipcan, Carrollton, GA, US
Ok here's the problem- the low beam light keeps blowing on the driver side only. I have replaced the light 4 times already and it is staring to cost a lot. The first time it was changed I thought that it wasn't a big deal. Then after the third time it was getting to be a pain. It is hard to change the light for one, and the bulbs are not cheap. If you get the ones that you can see with anyways. I have not seen a recall on this but there really needs to be cause I am not the only one that is having this problem. I feel like just getting rid of the car sometimes.
