This is the 2nd time I had this power steering assist module replaced within the last 18 months. Now they replaced it and told me that the power steering torque sensor is out and also want to replace the whole steering column at my expense which is a mere $670.00. That's crazy, if it wasn't for those faulty units vibrating, car shaking, steering wheel jerking, craziness before it would still be fine.
WOW I have been a Chev/Gm owner my whole life but this could make me switch.
FIX YOUR JUNK PONTIAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was recalled in 2011. I paid out of pocket because the steering column failed prior to the recall. Pontiac reimbursed me and the steering column has failed again. I do not know if they will pay for a 2nd failed steering column but this one sounds like it is going to snap if you go over 55 mph or steer to the left.

Just get recall started so all of us G6 drivers can continue to drive the car that we purchased in good faith. We believed we were getting a good car, so live up to your standards and deliver. Most of us carry very delicate and precious cargo daily!
