My car sometimes makes this awful jump after stopping at 20-40 mph. Almost like as if jolts or has a problem catching gears.. Its a 2008 and I can't see it having transmission problems so early, but I guess it does. It's scary and very concerning...

I bought a 2008 Pontiac G6 in July, brand new. I have had nothing but problem, like an exhaust problem, clicking in the brake pedal, vacuum hose leak causing my service engine light to come on, and when you think it can't get worse, something is not right with my engine or transmission. When I am going around 20 to 40 mph and accelerate, I am experiencing lack of pick up, jolts, and sometime pretty hard ones. I took it to the service department where I bought the car, and their diagnostic was very unacceptable. Even with the previous problems they said all G6 had these same characteristics, but then called a couple days later saying they found the problem, but not with this new one, they are just blowing it off as though it is a common characteristic of a new car breaking in. Well a new car breaking in doesn't mean it starts to run like e piece of sh*t!! Anyway, I am taking it to a different service department for a new diagnostic. Hopefully they can determine the problem. If anyone else has experienced these issue, please email me at meskimen82@yahoo.com

I am just very upset that a transmission on this vehicle would give up the ghost before even the trany fluid was due to be changed. There's no reason for this, as I always took great care of this car. I am hoping that GM will go good on at least some of this repair job even though I am a year out of warranty on it.
