I did a lot more research on the brake lights, cruise control, traction control, etc..., and I was never notified that they had a recall on may 14th, 2014. ref#14V252000. She owned the car since 2010. this is not right!! Over 2,440,000 cars have been recalled but we did not get anything saying there was a problem! but yet I've taken over $500.00 out of my own pocket to try and fix this! Yet now they still want to charge me for something they did, even with the recall, to solve this problem!
Whats next? How much more are we going to take it in the arse before we get something that we can depend on? I guess I'm going to start buying foreign if it's going to be like this! They all live here anyway. At least their smart enough to buy something that's not made here! Our quality has gone down hill, but yet they want more money! WHAT HAVE WE BECOME?!?!?! This is our country, why can't we do the simplest things and be PROUD of what we do!

Door locks, headlights, brake lights, stereo light, washer fluid sprayer. All intermittently work. Never buying GM again.

While parked in the garage, ignition off and key removed, lights flicker and radio and dash clock come on and stay on. Sometimes for minutes or hours. I have ruined one battery and am working on ruining the next one.
I have had it in to the GM dealer twice and they have been unable to duplicate the symptoms.
My NON-solution to the problem is to disconnect the battery when I park and re-connect it when I go somewhere. Not very @%!&ing convenient, huh?
If anyone has a solution I would like to know. Mr. Goodwrench doesn't.
Thanks

Well, this issued started around December 2010, car had approx. 26,000 miles on it. The oil temperature gauge would work on and off causing the check engine light to come on and off. Mainly a nuisance, but still should not happen. This was followed by in January, my alarm started going off randomly by itself for no explainable reason. The newest thing is that the Door Ajar light is constantly coming on, bringing on my dome light, even while driving, also setting off the alarm. There is no way to make this stop. The car is drivable if you don't mind the constant dinging and flashing lights... We have unplugged my battery until I take this to the dealership Monday to be looked at. Can't wait to hear what they have to say...

My car alarm just goes off in the night when it feels like it. The door ajar message for reason at all and the radio stays on. The radio does not turn off even after the key is out and the drivers side door is open. Is GM making garbage these days? I had one all my life and never this many problems ever with a new car.

First the tire pressure would read low, when the tire was fine. After a few weeks it added 'traction control' error messages. Then one tire went to 16lb without a message. It read a correct 37psi a few minutes after it was filled. Somebody pulled out in front of us, and when we slammed on the brakes it skidded and swerved - no ABS. Our neighbor just told us that he saw our brake lights are on when the brakes are off, and vice versa. Cleared up this time by shutting it off/on. This could get us rear-ended very easily. Going to try to take it to dealer tomorrow.
