The contact owns a 2010 Pontiac G6. While attempting to make a turn, the front and rear lights failed to signal. The lights on the instrument panel illuminated. In addition, the front driver door failed to open or close. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 148,000.

Without any warning the front passenger door wouldn't open causing me to climb over console to get out on driver side. If there was an accident or a fire in the vehicle the time it took to climb over the console could have been a life or death situation. When brought to the dealer for an appointment 3 days later that they couldn't get it open either for the longest time and was told it was caused by a broken door latch. This is a safety issue and should be reason enough for a manufacturers recall. This was a very expensive part to have repaired for a cost of $463.31 absolutely disgusting!
