The brake lights will turn and stay on as the car is started from cold or warm engine. While driving the brake lights will stay on and die as I press on the brake pedal. Many cars have nearly rear ended me and I've received many comments from people driving around me stating the same thing I see, brake lights are on till I hit the brakes. Which confuses them and they always have to screech they're tires to stop from impact (10 incidents). This faulty incident happened right before my warranty expires. I took in to GM and they couldn't address nor believed me because my service ESC and traction lights were off and it didn't mimick the same. But after 36, 000 miles this issue happened everyday. Unless it is 80 degrees out it doesn't come on as often more like every other start up. It is really unsafe to be driving this car on the highway or right before a heavy intersection. Will GM fix this issue or wait for a bad disaster to happen like Toyota? there are plenty of other G6 I see on the road with the same issue so I know it is not just mines. If this isn't going to be recall, GM has lost all respect, at least with Toyota they admitted to faulty brakes and went along to fix them. While GM for years have ignore this issue. My first american car and my only bad experience with a vehicle. My next car will most likely not be a GM made faulty car till this issue has been realized and address.
