Consumer received recall 00V287, however when contacting dealer they stated that parts were not available, failure resulted in voltage regulater failure, consumer is requesting reimbursement for that replacement cost. Radiator failed and was replaced, head gaskets failed and engine was rebuilt.

When engine coolant was changed vehicle began to run hot, new waterpump was installed rust was all in engine the rust had cracked the splines off of waterpump, vehicle continued to run hot;had new thermostat installed, car continued to run hot on occasion;had radiator flushedstill ran hot finally had to have entire engine and cooling system flushed to get all the rust out of system it was clogging return cooling line and obstructing the water flow.

Quadra 4 engine; rustand mud is getting into radiator and clogging it up, causing vehicle to overheat, and resulting in blown head gasket. Dealer must tear down entire vehicle just to get into the head gasket and radiator.
