On September 15, 1996 my 18 year old son was killed In a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am. I always questioned it and was told that the airbag was 3 seconds off. I really do believe that something was at fault with this car that contributed to his death. I did not pursue this as he also did not have a seat belt on. I did question Pontiac but received no response except they put me on a list where I was to state how great this car was! Then they kept sending me postcards with a picture of this car on it......nice slap 👋 n the face. I told them to stop and that I would write a review of this vehicle but that I was sure they wouldn’t post it! I may never know exactly what all happened but often do think about it......
