The dashboard on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Am has cracked and is lifting, separating from the windshield. I can no longer drive it, because of poor visibility. I went to the dealer, and the cost to replace is $1300. It is a factoty defect, but General Motors will not give me an allowance on repairs, only a voucher to apply towards the purchase of a new car.

The passenger side door handle, the rear passenger side door handle and the rear drivers side door handle all lock up - this is a safety hazard (no child locks are not in use) and you cannot enter the vehicle at all. A mechanic has thoroughly checked the vehicle - they all need to be replaced! I also have brown spots coming through the paint job - it is a white vehicle.
