The air conditioning clutch is the culprit in this mess. The worst part of fixing this problem was finding an AC! clutch holder and puller (not fan). For some reason nobody knew what the hell I was talking about at any of the parts stores (advanced, oreilly, autozone). But they do have a specific tool for changing out the AC clutch. Don't let people tell you its better to change the whole AC unit for 400 dollars. There were helpful websites showing how to change the part. Once I had the tools it was quite easy to do the work.

The sound is sooo obnoxious but the two other choices are worse. Pay way too much for a new a/c compressor or disable it and have no a/c at all!
