I have changed my vehicles brakes 2 times since I bought it with 27000 miles on it. I've met other people with the same problem. The brakes grind with any kind of stop.

While driving 35-40 mph applied brakes and there was no response, brakes were constantly skipping.. consumer states while driving, left front wheel sounds loose and feel like it is going to fall off, and when pressing the brake pedal vehicle experiences a knocking, pulsation or grinding sound, dealer found front rotors warped and rear brakes not adjusted correctly.
