The contact owns a 2000 Pontiac grand-am SE. The dashboard panel failed and broke into pieces. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that the failure was a manufacturers defect. The dashboard panel will need to be replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that they will not offer any assistance due to the age of the vehicle and mileage. The contact stated would like for the manufacturer to repair the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 70,000 and the current mileage was 119,000.

: the contact stated while traveling 55 mph, there was a clicking noise coming from the dashboard and the lights failed to illuminate on the dashboard or the exterior of the vehicle. The service dealer replaced the exterior lighting: Flashing warning light unit. After a month, the failure occurred again. The turn signals failed as well, both on the instrument panel and the exterior of the vehicle. The service dealer and manufacturer were not contacted.
