Grand Am

Took V-6 4 door Pontiac Grand Am into dealership when car had app. 34,000 miles on it. Complained about engine overheating, thought something wrong with engine. Dealership said no, it was just a plastic bag on the engine. Car with 38,000 miles on it, check engine light comes on, mechanic says fuel injector is broken (not clogged, it just broke). Car with 43,000 - 2nd fuel injector "breaks", once again, mechanic says it's just the injectors - breaking. Injectors have been flushed and everything.

Gas fumes were felt inside of vehicle, it was leaking into engine all over. Vehicle would start shaking, and blue gray smoke came outof exhaust. It happened 3 times, each time fuel injectors were replaced. Dealer kept vehicle 2 weeks, and same day picked up consumer drove 40 miles and it repeated same thing. 1 month later, engine check light was coming on. Dealer did not have a remedy. Consumer has got GM involved to rectify problem. The consumer states the vehicle was at the dealer service shop for 34 or more days.
