I had bought my used 2000 Grand Am in December of 2001. Since then, I have had to buy front brakes and rotors twice. Both times the mechanic informed me of the terrible condition they were in. I have also had problems with the car shutting down completely while driving. After talking to several mechanics, they all agreed that it was my fuel pump. They had also informed me that many other Grand Am have had the same problems. Is there a recall on this car for these particular problems?

I have a 2000 Grand Am. My gas gauge does not work properly. Now, car is stalling and mechanic says it is the fuel pump. Right front window doesn't work. My fans do not work properly and my car overheats constantly. I had 3 sensors bad in my car and had them replaced. Rotors, brake pads and bearings have been replaced constantly.
