The left rear seat belt will lock intemittently (being used with a child restraining seat). If the seat or the belt is moved, it will unlock itself. The right rear seat belt will not lock. You can keep pulling on the belt and it will not lock down. The dealer said that this body style does not do that. The owners manual states that it does and that it must in order to put in a child restraining seat. I know that it used to do lock because I have owned the car since Sept 1999 and have had training classes on how to install child restraining seats in correctly. Now, with this problem, I do not feel that our son is safe in my car. I don't know when his seat belt will become lose - if we were to get in an accident - who knows what might happen.
