The contact owns a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. The contact stated that there was low visibility when the headlights were illuminated. He felt that the clouded lenses caused the failure, however, the dealer stated that chemicals from a car wash were the cause. As of September 17, 2007, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle. The failure mileage was 30,000 and current mileage was 34,720. The consumer provided information pertaining to the defect. The consumer stated the manufacturer is at fault, however the manufacturer stated will not be held financially responsible for the defect. Updated 10/03/07

While driving at night the headlights are very dim. Consumer states there is an electrical problem. Consumer has taken the vehicle to the dealer twice. Consumer states he was denied service, which resulted in a fire.
