problem #1

Apr 172009

Grand Am SE 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

Driving on the highway at 65 mph, and the bolt from the seat belt latch came off while driving

home from work. I had to hold my belt down all the way home. Why in the world would a bolt be attached to the seat? Why wouldn't they attach it to the floor like older cars. I could of been in an accident, and have this coming apart?!!!!would of be very serious. I could of went right at the windshield. I called the dealership and even contact Pontiac about the problem. They said that there was nothing they could do, except get it fixed. I shouldn't have to pay for their lack of safety..... Be careful when buying new cars
