I bought the car with a 30 day warranty. On the 31st day, the car started overheating. Turns out there was coolant mixed with the oil. Ugh!

Update from Jun 25, 2009: I ended up selling the car instead of fixing. Two blown head gaskets is too many!!!

Grand Prix SE 3.1L

I have herd for others that the 3.1 Pontiac motor was noted for blown head gaskets and intake gaskets, that is why they are in junk yards, you don't know until it's to late. I caught mine in time because I was watching my gauges and it started running hot so I turned it off right away that is what saved the motor according to my mechanic.now that that is repaired the vehicle runs perfect.thanks mom
