About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
Service engine problems from the beginning. Almost every exhaust-related component was replaced before a new computer cut down on the problem. I still had an episode or two after that installation, but have had no episodes in two years now. Airbag light came on shortly after warranty expired, but I knew about the technical service bulletin on that one and it was fixed for free. Driver side window button died a few months after purchase, but it was replaced free under warranty. More recently two windows have stopped working when the weather is warm. I am living with my power window problems because I don't want to pay to have two motors replaced. No winter problems in the winter. Most recently my lens cover on the right headlight fell off. It cost me over $100 for an aftermarket replacement and home installation, but GM was going to charge me $250 plus labor.

The passenger side headlight lens cover fell off and was not recovered. Just after I replaced this one the driver's side fell off. (the light bulbs explosed after being exposed to the weather)

The lense on the passenger side head light just fell off in my driveway as I was coming home from work one afternoon. My husband found it in the driveway and a friend had ran over it. So now we have to spend $78 and buy the whole assembly in order to get a lense replaced because the thing just feel off.

Consumer has exprienced 6 times failure of all lighting. There is no pattern for this, it happens at any speed and at any time. Consumer took vehicle to two different dealers, and had sensors replaced/headlight switch replaced, but problem still occurs.
