When i first bought the car, only one of the rear windows would go down. After a month, the other window kept going down on its own. After performing an exorcism on the car and pulling the panel off the door, turns out the guide wires had come off the track at the bottom, and just my luck, right where my big hands cant reach. So now, i have one window stuck in the up position, and the other held up by a screwdriver. Thanks alot GM for making this POS.

Another GM window problem. First the back and then the front, both on the passenger side within 3months the regulator failed to do its job. Just another conspiracy to make money after the point of purchase. From who? From us the consumer, and may I add 3 to $400 at a time. What can u do?

I got the car at 30,000 and the driver's window regulator died. My mechanic (for the last 10 years) told me GM knows about this and won't do a thing. It happens all the time. Now I have the passenger front and driver's back regulators to replace. That should bring my total in regulators to $600. GM doesn't care. Other than these problems it's been a very good car. We now have 41K miles on it.

During the summer of 2004 I had two window regulators fail on windows I did not use. Since then one more has failed. Pontiac want's $400.00+ per window to repair. My solution, took door panel off, disconnected the automatic window switch and blocked the window in the up position.
