Grand Prix GT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 145,000 miles

This has happened twice before on my son's car (this was once my husband's car) on the driver's window (this is the third time) and three times on the passenger window. About once every two years. Definitely obnoxious.

Grand Prix 4DR GT

  • 72,950 miles

Every other window will go up and down no problem, but not the drivers side window. It'll go down just fine but when it comes to goin up you get nothing! Seems to be a very common problem with Pontiacs, especially grand prix's and grand am's. Dealer will tell you that it is the window motor or regulator and charge you an arm and a leg to fix. Anywhere from $150-$400, when all you gotta do is find one off of ebay for about $70!!
