My 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix has a fuel pump resistor problem which is quiet common because of it's location. My car broke down 4 times and was towed 3 times through aaa and 1 time out of pocket $300 from outside syracuse to watertown, NY. Plus out of pocket expenses for repairs approx. $425.

Vehicle shutdown without prior warning on several occasions. One time it would not restart. Fuel pump was replaced. This is not the problem. Since then vehicle has not shutdown but occasionally loses power. Has done so when pulling out into traffic.
