The caller said the front brake pads were completely gone. It made a grinding when you applying the brakes while it was moving. The caller said the bonding on the pads did not hold the pads on the metal backing plate. The caller replaced them himself. Dealer has not been contacted yet. Manufacturer said to take vehicle to a dealer and have them look at the brakes. The caller did not take vehicle to dealer. The brake pad were only 1/3 worn at the time of their failure. The consuemr replaced the pads himself.
