Hi. I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged with the 3.8L V6.
About two months ago I started to hear a moaning and groaning noise coming from the front end of the car every time I turned the steering wheel left or right. This only happens at slow speeds, usually while parking. Just recently I noticed the brakes would shudder and vibrate violently while stepping on the brakes and either turning the steering wheel left or right at slow speeds. Once again this happens usually while parking and with the moaning and groaning noise occurring at the same time.
Any clues, ideas or suggestions as to what may be wrong with my car. Thanks.

My car makes a sound almost like a groan when I turn left - sometimes. It does not always make this sound. I have had it to the dealership several times but when the service rep drives it (I was with him once), there is no noise - naturally. My husband hears it too. The noise seems to happen more frequently during warm weather. Does anyone have any suggestions? Other than this problem, the car has behaved beautifully since I bought it new in 2004.

Took 4 days to fix!!!
It began with a noise and could ultimately have broken the pump.
