I was out shopping with my daughter and grandson at our first stop I was having trouble getting the car seat to unbuckle my daughter informs me that it does that quite often some times it takes her 5 minutes or longer to get my grandson out. After almost 5 minutes of fighting with the buckle it finally released. After returning to the car I was not comfortable putting my grandson back in the car seat but figured we would get him out. Our next store we stopped at proved us wrong after 15 minutes and a very upset boy I finally had to cut him out of the straps to get him out of the car seat. We went into the store went directley to the baby department and picked up a new car seat. It sickens me to think what would have happened if there had been an accident or a fire. I contacted graco the same day we came home as I did not see this carseat on the recall list to make them aware there are problems with their car seat and 3 weeks later they wont even acknowledge I emailed them with the problem.
