The contact owns a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. All of the electrical components were functioning except for the ignition. The failure occurred intermittently for five months. The dealer stated that the computer software in the vehicle failed to read the ignition key. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.
