Montana LS

The DVD player screen display didn't work when we bought the van from the used auto dealer but it still played the radio and CDs. About a month after buying it, the DVDs stopped playing and it sucked the disc in and kept it for about a month, and one day it spit it out, but it quit playing them after that. The radio still works but it doesn't play discs and you still can't see the display.

The dvd player qit working, not a big deal, but annoying on long trips with the kids. The dealership said that it should be covered on extended warr, but after taking it in they said that it would cost $800 to fix because it wasn't standard to the van. However, it is a factory installed dvd player, original equipment that came in the van brand new. So, how does that make it not original to the van?? Who knows. Like I have said before, HATE GM, AND HATE TRYING TO DEAL WITH THEM AND THE JUNK THAT THEY SELL!!
