Montana V6 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

The van sometimes starts and sometimes you hear a grinding noise and it takes several tries to get it to start. Most of the time it is if I make quick stops , like when the Bank drive through window asks me to shut off my engine , then it wont start again until it has been about 10 minutes.I have 4 kids and not knowing if my van will start when I need it to really sucks.

About a month After purchasing the van I would go to start it and it would chug and try to start for several seconds and then it would either not start or start but most of the time when this occurs it takes me several try's before I can get it going. I have brought it in to several machanices but noone ever gets it to happen when they have it and they can't find anything wrong. I was told by one to have the fuel injectors cleaned but when I brought it in they said there was nothing wrong with them. Im not sure what it is but its not fun and I feel unsafe driving with my kids not knowing if the van will start or just finally give out on me..
