When I was slowing down to come to a stop at 15-20mph it suddenly hard shifted and jerked like the brakes came on but I did not have my foot on the brake. The back tires squealed like they locked up or something. Lucky no one was behind me or I may have gotten rear ended. My care has 50K miles and this is the first time this has happened. I drove straight home and it did it 4-5 times more on the way home" Any ideas as to what the problem may be? This is definitely a safety issue. From what I have read this looks like this has been an ongoing issue for awhile.. Has this issue been looked at before? If so, what is the resolutions"

My car lurches or downshift while normal driving. This causes it hard to control. Previous recalls on this make and model have been for power train. However my VIN #doesn't qualify. This is a mistake. I was highway and city driving when it occurred. Normal

Takata recall: Air bag light came on and the dealer put in a temp fix and the light is off, but they told me a new fix is coming from GM. I drive by myself 90% of the time because I am afraid to let anyone ride in the passenger seat because they could be injured.

I was driving on I-10 going East. I entered the freeway at the 3rd St ramp. From the police report, I stepped on my brakes, my car turned facing sideways and was hit by a semi truck on the driver's side. When I was hit I went under the semi and slammed the embankment and my car went back under the semi and faced oncoming traffic. I had a collapsed lung, broken ribs, and was unconscious for 3 days. I have memory loss and lack of some emotional feelings. I did move and did not having forwarding address and thus never received a recall notice. I did have a key chain I carried with several keys on it. There were more than 3 parts that were affected. The car was marked as totaled.

We purchased our 2007 Solstice and the service airbag light came on. Dealer checked and estimated $770. For repair. In my opinion, this should be a recall issue for safety reasons.
