Bought car with 23,000 miles on from a private owner in Arkansa. Brakes were tight, very smooth to stop even in emergencies. Then, all of a sudden, my brakes became less than adequate! Almost got hit by a semi, T-boned! Replaced R front caliper and both disc brake pads on front end, no good, problem still existed?!
Then, began to really look at ABS block, master cyclinder ETC. My ABS block was put together in Mexico?
Not Detroit, USA. Now, I have to really be careful when stopping behind another car, or in emergency braking situation? RF brake/caliper still does not close on rotor!! Replaced both front Rotors also, no good?!!
This car was great until this brake situtation developed. Never, ever had this kind of problem with Toyota,Honda or BMW!
This will probably cost me more than the car is worth to fix and it cannot be sold either!
