Sunfire GT 2.4L Twin Cam

I have rad coolant leaking under passenger front tire, mechanic sad it was the water pump, but I didn't notice the water pump leaking or making any noise, Temperature gauge isn't going up, its a $800fix, I want to do it myself. how do I get at it?
