Purchased the Torrent 12/2009.Paid cash for it.Two days after having it I could not remove the key. I called Haydocy on W. Broad St. where I purchased it they said if I towed it in to them they could fix it, well I was in Mt. Vernon,Ohio. That was a sign that I should of returned it and got my money back. So called AAA and they came out and pulled the key out in 5 seconds and $65.00 later. That's when I should of taken the Torrent back and been done with it. A year after having it the heads went out then it was $2000.00 to have fix and not have a car for 2 months. It was in the shop @ Haydocy 4 times for the ignition switch, and the last time it was fixed (they said) it still did not work and I still have problems with it.The drivers side window has not worked for over a year. The A/C and heater now do not work. My lights half the time do not work and the radio works when it wants. So I think it was a bad mistake to even buy anything from GM or from Haydocy on W. Broad St. in Columbus,Ohio

Torrent 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission

I went to start the truck this morning to defrost the windows and warm it up but the heater motor wouldn't turn on. I replaced the relay but that obviously wasn't the problem. This is a real bad problem as I live in NY and we have our winters in the teens a lot of the time therefore the wndows frost up. No matter if I scrape the windshield of ice or not, the inside fogs up inside from the warmth of our breath and we can't see. Dangerous? Ya think!
