The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. The contact stated that fuel would continuously spill from the fuel tank and onto the ground. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the fuel line would need to be replaced. The contact planned to take the vehicle to an authorized dealer for the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000. Updated 08-09-12 the consumer stated the local GMC dealer service department and Pontiac customer service. The response from both was that the vehicle was out of warranty and no financial assistance would be provided. Updated 08/09/2012
