I had been driving my car as usual with no apparent issues such as unexplained noises, clunking, clattering, etc. etc. I started my car and began to back out of my driveway when I realized I had no power steering. My son-in-law replaced the 80amp fuse as that was the easy/cheapest fix online and it did not resolve the problem. I took it to my local mechanic who did research and said that it was more than likely a programming issue as described in campaign #07224A but I would have to bring it to the dealership to confirm. Of course the dealership said it was unrelated to this campaign and they had to replace the power steering control module at the low cost of $725, not covered under warranty.
