I noticed the random feature on an MP3 CD that I burned started repeating songs after about 45 minutes and then would skip some files all together. I have the same radio in my 2006 Ion, the standard GM issued radio, and it plays the CD flawlessly. I tried another CD and it did the same thing. I contacted the dealership and they had an outside company check the radio from London Ontario. They said the radio was no good and had a replacement radio put in. This replacement one is even worse! The Random feature shuts off on it's own and it still does not play some files and on Random you hear the same songs over and over within 45 mins of each other. I called the dealer and they said bring it in so I made babysitting arrangements and brought it in. They call me a couple hours later stating GM won't authorize another radio. I had to call GM myself to get this looked into. Still waiting for a response. What a pain in the ass
