My van stalls out after you have been driving it for a while. If you let it sit for a few minutes it will go again. I have no problem restarting it but when you put it in drive it dies!!! We have had to have it towed numerous times and when we get it home it starts up and runs okay! The wrecker driver told me it was a sensor but none seems to know what the problem is!!!

This applies to the 3.0L engine with throttle body fuel injection ( I believe this was the only engine offered this model year ). This happened to me repeatedly, in the afternoon on the way back from work. I'm trained as a mechanic so I started with the basics... Air, spark, fuel, no blockage of the intake...so I have air, checked spark...that was good, removed the air cleaner and checked the fuel flow out of the injectors ( they are visible ) and found that fuel flowing out of them was not smooth, it was ragged and interrupted. First I changed the fuel filter...always start small and cheap ; ) that didn't work. So next was the fuel pump, I dropped the tank and installed the new pump...problem solved. I must say I'm impressed that this is the only problem I see listed. She has been good to me, knock on wood, the only other problem I've had is the door handles, the little tab on the inside breaks often needing to be replaced. Hope this helps.
