Earlier last week I started hearing a clicking sound coming from behind my glovebox, and upon removing the glovebox discovered that the door that allows inside and outside air into the actuator (I think this is correct) is clicking open and closed. After searching online for similar problems on Pontiac Vibes, I discovered that literally hundreds if not more people are having this same problem. What am I supposed to do, and why do so many people have the same problem? nothing about the occurrence suggests anything but a defective part to me.
