2008 Pontiac Vibe accelerated without warning. Consumer slammed on the brakes but it didn't stop the vehicle. The consumer stated the vehicle finally resumed normal operation. The consumer discovered there was a recall, but when she went to the dealer, she was informed only the 2009 and 2010 vehicles were being repaired under the recall.
