Vibe Wagon 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 24,855 miles

Rear brake pads wear off at an angle - replaced pads 5 times since I purchased the car. First time at 40,000km, last 4 times at 62,000, 85,000 105,000 and 125,000km. Now I have 142,000km on the car and they are on the metal again. There has got to be a manufacturers defect causing this but all they will tell me is "we don't cover wear and tear."

Please note the front brakes are fine. Also it is not my driving - my last six cars I ran at least 160,000 km before having any brake problems, and then the front ones always go first. Looking for a solution to this problem.
