We also have occasional stalling problems when starting with our 2008 Pontiac Wave. Still under warranty and has been in shop for days but so far GM is unable to recreate the problem so is not able to diagnose or repair it. The car only has 17,000 km on it! What level of confidence can we have in our car when it does this? RIDICULOUS. As a lifelong GM customer and owner of multiple GM vehicles, this really undermines our confidence in GM and raises serious doubts about whether we will ever buy another GM vehicle. GM, are you listening?!!!

took car in back 5 months ago for shuddering/stall problem, nothing shows on computer and doesn't do it all time so dealership said they could find no problem, took in at 97k for timing belt replacement and again mentioned stalling when started up, finally acted up for dealer, they replaced timing belt as asked then after a week decided head was bad and replaced it, still shudders and sometimes stalls (once or twice a week) took back in... told loose bolt on fuel rail (yeah right) took home again and day 3 on vacation.... car shudders badly when started, couple days later does it again.. back to dealer for week... wont do it for them. back home.... just waiting for it to do it again... 5 months of this is getting super annoying and very disheartening... Would like to Dump car but still have 3 yrs payments... hope it lasts that long :(
