I bought Boxster S 3.2 from 2001 in April 2013 with 84k miles on the clock, perfect condition, two previous owners, full service history, actually it was really overserviced, I counted £9.000 (14.000 $) spent for the services during last 12 years, and without any serious issue.

After 2 months of owning it I decided to go for holidays with my new car. In one third of the way the engine blow up and my holidays turned into nightmare. You can see on the pictures the engine is just shattered inside. The rebuild cost me £8400, more than I paid for the car!

The conclusion is - DO NOT BUY A PORSCHE! Please, do not put yourself into the trouble, use google and see how many people faced this problem, with the car from the company which was the icon of the reliability.
