The contact owns a 2006 Porsche Cayenne. While at a stop light or when making a left or right turn, the vehicle intermittently stalled. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V576000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called the collection dealer at (305) 444-5555 (located at 200 bird rd, coral gables, fl 33146) and was informed that the part was not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 116,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing or repair. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V576000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the part was not available for the repair. Porsche of san diego (9020 miramar rd, san diego, ca 92126, (858) 695-3000) was contacted and stated that they would replace the fuel pump with an older model until the part became available. The approximate failure mileage was 190,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
