The contact stated that during the failure there was a message which stated to turn off and restart the vehicle, while the vehicle was still being driven. The contact drove the vehicle home safely and then had the vehicle towed to a local dealer. The vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3,500.

Our safety was put at risk by being stopped in a dangerous location on a narrow 2-lane road at night with falling temperatures. The "Electrical Failure" warning happened simultaneously with the vehicle losing power.
