I am in need to repair for an exhaust manifold lead for the third time now. This is too expensive to keep on without a lasting solution. The last mechanic said it was due to faulty bolts that were a known problem.

Had started noticing a ticking sound from the driver side of the truck, especially at start up. Went to check my oil and the dip stick was just flopping around. Found 2 manifold bolts broke off inside the manifold. Bought a bolt set and have been looking for over a year for a mechanic to fix it but, no one wants to touch it. I really wanted one of these trucks for many years and now I regret ever getting this heap of s***!

My extended warranty will pay for the replacement of the exhaust manifold but will not pay for exhaust bolt or exhaust gasket replacement. I would think these items are a part of the exhaust manifold, but the insurance company says no! Dodge has known of this problem for years but refuses to issue a recall! Cost of fixing the company error is better to ignore than having good customer relations.. Consider this for any future Dodge purchases....
